New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed why new stars Billy Gilmore and Faustino Anjorin were not allowed to leave the club on loan during the January transfer window.

In order not to be allowed to leave the players, he added:Instead,we decided to keep Tino Anjorin and Billy Gilmore in the group.Because I really liked what I saw from the two guys.
He's very,very close to the side in terms of quality,work ethic and personality.He's very,very close.So we took the decision very quickly,it's not even a solution.It's clear that we are making progress with this group.
Chelsea head into the derby with Tottenham in eighth place on Thursday evening. He will see the win as a jumpstart and move into the top 6.
Tuchel has had both draws and wins from both of his matches so far.Chelsea were held 0-0 by Wolves in their first match.But they responded with a 2-0 win over Burnley last time.This will be the former PSG manager's first guest since arriving.
