We don't celebrate draws - Opare Addo

It is a two-way affair when media men decide to do their work and the people, on the other hand, decide to defend and deny what has circulating in town.

It is true that some media personnel are in a hurry to break news and therefore end up giving out false information.

Today, it circulatedv in the sports circle that Accra Hearts of Oak players have been given GHS 800 after drawing against Karela FC last weekend.

This news came as a shocking one to fans of the club an football lovers. This, tickling the ears of the club, made them to come out with a press release to debunk the falsehood going around town.

In a press release bearing the letterhead of the club, Kwame Opare Addo notified the general public that the news lacks truth and therefore the club doesn't celebrate mediocrity.

In the second paragraph of the release, he wrote;

"We want to emphasize that, as a club, we don't celebrate draws. That is ridiculous and self demeaning." - Kwame Opare Addo
