Gyan Boos Were A Childish Act From Asante Kotoko Fans - Tagoe

Late Ghana forward Tagoe accepts ex-worldwide partner Gyan was ridiculously treated by Asante Kotoko fans during Saturday's Ghana Premier League match between the club and the striker's Legon Cities side.

The 35-year-old previous Sunderland and Udinese expert was booed by the Porcupine Warriors during his 75th-minute presentation into the installation at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The match finished 1-0 for Kotoko, the definitive objective coming from Emmanuel Gyamfi in the thirteenth moment.

"I think what befallen Gyan discloses to us the sort of country we are leaving in. Ghanaians extravagant the defeat of individuals as opposed to lifting them," previous TSH Hoffenheim frontman Tagoe, who played along with Gyan at the 2010 World Cup, revealed to Angel TV.

"I didn't anticipate that such a thing should occur, what happened was appalling since he is here to help increase the expectation of the Ghana Premier League.

"His essence in the class is an or more on the grounds that the youthful ones are taking in a great deal from him.

"We have a great deal of players who will get back to the GPL, yet the thing is keeping them from coming, it is a result of something like this."

The motivation behind why Gyan was booed stays muddled.

While some have ascribed the antagonism toward the striker's extremely late choice to turn Kotoko to rather finish paperwork for Legon on his re-visitation of the GPL last october, others accept the demonstration was a transition to agitate the forward on his presentation into the game, as Kotoko expected to secure their lead.

"Gyan has not taken cash from anybody [for which he ought to be booed for joining an alternate club]," Tagoe added.

"In spite of the fact that he had a goal to play for Kotoko yet on the off chance that one explanation or the other he can't go along with them, it doesn't mean they should boo him since it is possible that Kotoko couldn't fulfill his needs.

"I think it is pointless in light of the fact that Gyan has made his name in the game, so we ought to be glad for what we have. I won't be shocked if Asamoah stops the GPL. I think it was a whimsical demonstration from the fans."

Gyan has not accepted the treatment without a fight, having hit back at the Kotoko fans and called them "scoundrels" and focusing on that "there is just a single Asamoah Gyan".

The Black Stars assailant is Ghana's unsurpassed top scorer and the most covered player, having scored 51 objectives in 109 trips.
