Kumasi Asante better known As porcupine warriors have announced a disturbing news concerning a relative of their number 9 striker, Georges Rodrigue Mfegue Omgba.
According to the Kumasi-based club their striker George Mfegue lost his elder brother earlier today. The club did not disclose detailed information about the tragic event but they sent their deepest condolences to their striker George Mfegue and his entire family.
“Our condolences to Georges Rodrigue Mfegue Omgba who lost his Snr. Brother earlier today”, the club’s statement read.
The club posted a video which showed the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amposah hugging a consoling the striker who returned to the club to begin their pre-season training.
George Mfegue came in with his Cameroonian counter part Frank Mbella as they flew into the country looking very prepared for their preseason training.
I’m reaction to this, a lot of Ghanaians have also shared their deepest condolences through social media and have told the striker to keep his head up.
