The Phobians this morning visited the St. Anglican Church in Accra to show their thanks in winning the trophy. It has been awesome indeed this year for the whole club to get all major trophies this season.
It is a good way to start the Africa campaign with a lot of expectations from the team. We have seen the 64 battalions under the leadership of Sir Coach Cecil Jones Attuquofio’s management.
Soon after the marriage of coach Samuel Boadu, the informed coach called all the players back to camp to start preparation ahead of AC Kasmar. The kind courtesy visit the player paid to the church was a kind one with a lot of believe in the team.
It consisted the entire Hearts of Oak team and the technical bench with the trophies won this season. They went there to meet the elders of the church in Akoto Lante to shower some blessing on the players.
The hopes for Hearts of Oak to retain the trophy in Africa is likely to happen because history speaks for them. The first time the team won both trophies in Ghana they went ahead to win the CAF Championship.
The Hearts of Oak team lead by the captain of the side and the church of Isaac Mensah the striker for Hearts, Mohammed Fatawu took the trophy along and presented it to the church leaders to bless it.
