This weekend, Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum did what Napoleons couldn’t do in just one season.
Going to Dorma, the best that any supporter would wish was to have a draw and to the extreme, some wanted the team to win but it was a daunting task.
Goals from Mfegue and Richmond Lamptey gave the Fabulous team their new year’s gift. According to Akoma FM sports in Kumasi, the supporters of Aduana Stars claimed before the match that the team (Aduana) would lose which insinuate that the game was predetermined.
The Kotoko team played well to have a deserving win but those who don’t have the heart to accept defeat are trying to blame the players.
This kind of attitude retards the growth of the competition and it affects both teams negatively. The winning team must be gingered and the losing team has to be cheered up to face their next opponent. If this is not done, our football will still be in the dark.
Kotoko deserved the win and they should be appreciated accordingly.
