Football is full of rules and regulations which every footballer must abide by it. This is same in every other field of work.

Eight(8) footballers have been banned from playing football for their respective clubs for a week.

Players who did not travel after being called up by Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay and Chile have been banned for five days under Fifa regulations.

All players were expected to visit or play for their national teams when they were called upon but failed to do so. In this regard, FIFA has ban these eight players from playing for almost a week.

Below are the players who have been banned for a week.

1. Alisson

 2. Fabinho

3. Roberto Firmino

4. Gabriel Jesus

5. Ederson

6. Raphinha

7. Fred

8. Thiago Silva

This means Fred and Thiago Silva cannot play in the Champions League on Tuesday

All the players are also from Brazil which has affected the players and their clubs.

The clubs which are affected are Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Leeds, Chelsea, Wolves, Newcastle and Watford.

These teams are all in the English Premier League.

This means, Champions league which is set to begin next week will have some these players not part of it.

However, there are still negotiations with the FIFA executives to find a solution to this ban on the players.
