Ghanaian Striker Akese Officially Breaks Lionel Messi's Record

Some will say scoring multi-goals in a particular game is a thing of the past, but Lionel Messi proved otherwise.

In 2012, Lionel Messi defied all odds and scored five goals against Bayer Leverkusen in the champions league.

That had seen Messi become the only player in the competition to score 5+ goals in a particular game.

Yesterday, a Ghanaian by name Akese Akese scored six goals in Nzema Kotoko’s 6-2 win over Star Madrid Fc.

In doing so, he has become one of the players outside Europe to score 5+ goals in a particular game.

This was an official game and in doing so our Ghanaian brother has overtaken Messi's record.

That's very impressive and that is how Erling Braut Haaland started, we have another Haaland in Ghana.

Akese Akese is only 21 years old, it's through that he has a long way to go, but he has showcased some talents that will never be forgotten.
