Kumasi Asante Kotoko are currently second on the league log of the Ghana Premier League. They’re behind current league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak with two points. The side are unbeaten in their last five matches, but they have drawn thrice in these matches.
The porcupine royals have been on a pretty fine form this season but they believe they need to win more games to be crowned as champions.
One of their aggressive defender, Wahab Adams who joined the side from Aduana Stars in 2017 has extended his contract till 2022. He has helped the side to win numerous trophies and he has been a pillar at the back keeping strikers at bay.
He has won the Ghana Premier League twice with the Ghana Premier League giants, one super Cup and one GFA Normalization Special Competition League. It is a big boost for the Kotoko. The red and black giants have won the league 24 times, the most won by any club in Ghana. They take on Ashanti Gold SC as their next fixture in the Ghana Premier League.
