Cristiano Ronaldo score trice to aid Manchester United sink Tottenham

In the English Premier League on Saturday evening, Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal's all-time leading scorer, scored a hat-trick to assist Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspurs.

United leads by a goal at halftime, with Ronaldo on the scoresheet with two goals. Early on, Ronaldo gave the hosts the lead with a beautiful long-range strike, but Tottenham rallied and equalized through Kane from the penalty spot. With a tap-in a few minutes later, the Portuguese skipper restored United's lead.

Back from recess, the Reds maintained their lines, denied Kane the opportunity into their box

Cristiano restored Manchester United's lead after Harry Maguire scored an own goal to level up the game. The 37-year-old Portuguese skipper helped Manchester United to clinch vital points at home. Tottenham Hotspurs gave their best out but couldn't match the strength of Manchester United.

The game ended 3-2 in favor of Manchester United.
