There have been rumours of the Chief Executive Officer of Glorious Hearts of Oak stepping down to take a new role as an accountant at a UK firm.
Mr Frederick Moore joined Hearts of Oak last year. Under his leadership, the club has gotten some good sponsorship and partnership. Just to mention a few, starlife Assurance, Star Assurance, Adonko Next Level Drink, Koflex Gym and some others.
Golden sport contacted Mr Moore at the Hearts Secretariat to get his side of the story.
Mr Moore said “l just cannot imagine someone will write a story and just say something which isn’t true. I have not said anything to anyone or have l said l am leaving this job. I am a Hearts Supporter first and foremost amd l will not just leave.”
When asked if he gets a bigger offer than Hearts of Oak would he leave; Mr Moore answered, “l was working in a bigger firm than Hearts of Oak. I am back home and l want to serve Hearts before l retire. Kindly ignore what these bloggers are saying.”
Our reporter asked him how the teams preparation are going so far and also if he could comment on the current social media bashing fans have talking about. Mr Moore replied “the team is on course, we the management have tried to provide everything they need, we have sorted all financial issues as well. The technical side are also happy and trust me when the league starts, we will surprise others”. Mr Moore added “about the fans not being happy, l want them to have patience, we are working hard on getting the right team for the department. Before the league starts you will see a new Accra Hearts of Oak.
