Legon Cities sits 16th on the league log of the Ghana Premier League. They are in the relegation zone are currently making amendments to better their stay in the league and escape relegation next season. They have featured in 22 matches in the campaign. Out of these matches, they have won 5, drawn 8 and lost 9.

These performance needs a wake-up call and the club officials are doing their best to turn things around. They have promised their fans that, they will be victorious in the remaining fixtures of the competition. There was a massive improvement in their performance in their last game they played against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The royals created decent chances but failed to score but their gaffer Coach Bashiru Hayford has stated it is a process and it will take time for things to be perfected. He has admonished the players to play with confidence and stay resolute in the remaining games.

Legon Cities wrote on their Twitter handle that, they will be playing the remaining games like a final to continue to exist in the league.“The rest of our 12 games left are going to be played like a final. We will go all out and fight for the points.” These were the words from their aggressive defender Michael Ampadu who together with his teammates are poised for glory in the remaining fixtures. Legon Cities take on Ebusua Dwarfs as their next fixture in in the league.
