This season's edition, is expected to be keenly contested with 110 clubs drawn from all over Ghana, scheduled to participate in the competition as they seek to become winners at the expense of two-time defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak.
In all, 111 clubs including Accra Hearts of Oak, will participate in this upcoming campaign to vie for the ultimate prize at stake.
The draw for the preliminary round of the competition, has been confirmed to come off next week Tuesday in Accra with the event planned to come off at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA).
The draw is expected to be shown live on television with TV rights holders StarTimes scheduled to broadcast the event on their media channels.
Accra Hearts of Oak, has won the last two editions of the competition, and, they will look to make it a hat-trick of trophies this season.
The Phobians, are the record winners of the FA Cup competition, having won the trophy 12 times with Asante Kotoko second on the list with nine titles.
