Hajia Kande is famously known for his comment “No Sully Muntari, no Black stars.”
She made the comments after Sully was dropped from the Blacks Stars years back.
According to multiple reports, Hajia Kande passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
It will be recalled that Muntari also lost his father in May 2017.
Meanwhile, sports journalists and Ghanaians have been sympathizing with the former AC Milan, Inter-Milan, and Black Stars player.
“Condolences to Sulley Muntari and family on the loss of his mum Hajia Kande,” Angel TV’s Saddick Adams.
The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) also sent its condolence to Muntari.
“The @PFAGofficial is saddened to hear of the passing of the mother of Sulley Muntari. We hold you close in our thoughts and hope you know you can lean on us for whatever you may need. Sincere condolences.”
