Another English Ghanaian decent has signed his first professional football contract with Tottenham Hotspur. Rio Kyerematen is an English born Ghanaian decent who was born on the 9th June, 2005 in London, England at the St Mary's hospital

At age 8, Rio Kyerematen joined the Tottenham Hotspur's academy. Last season he featured for the Tottenham Hotspur's under 16 scoring 8 goals and making 5 assists. In June 2
2021, he made made his debut for the under 18 when they defeated Southampton by three goals to nothing
Rio Kyerematen is a central midfielder but can also play in the attacking midfield role. Signing a professional contract disposes Rio Kyerematen to the senior team and is likely to feature in the premier league for the club
With Ghana still exploring and searching for players of Ghanaian decent around the world to join the black stars and other national teams, it remains to be seen if the Ghana football association will explore the options contacting Rio Kyerematen to make a nationality switch to feature for Ghana
