Neymar became the most expensive football player in history after moving from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
The Brazilian ended a fantastic four-year stint with Barca by departing Camp Nou for PSG in a €222 million (£200 million) deal.
With the acquisition of Neymar, he surpassed Paul Pogba as the biggest transfer of all time. Pogba whose move from Juventus to Manchester United cost €105 million in 2016.
Prior to that, the most expensive transfer in history was Gareth Bale's €101 million moves from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013.
That move ended a four-year stay in the top spot for Cristiano Ronaldo, whose own move to Madrid from Manchester United cost €94m in 2009.
