Breaking News: Konadu Yiadom signs contract with Accra Hearts of Oak

West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) defender Konadu Yiadom has signed a 2-year pre-contract with Accra Hearts of Oak per reports.

After Ibrahim Abukari was injured in January 2018, Yiadom signed a three-year contract with the West African Football Academy and was quickly promoted to the senior team.

The Phobians, who are 13 points behind arc-rivals and league leaders Asante Kotoko in their championship defense ambitions, are adding players to bolster their team as the league draws its end.

This season, the highly-rated defender has been in superb form, winning four man of the match accolades for the Academy team.

Yiadom has started all 15 Ghana league games this season and has only been cautioned once for his good performances.

He is a member of the Black Stars B team, having made his national team debut against Uzbekistan in an international friendly on March 26, 2021.

Before joining WAFA in 2018, Yiadom started his career with lower-tier side Tema United in the harbor city of Tema in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana before joining WAFA in 2018.

In Hearts' defense, he will be joined by Mohammed Alhassan, Fatawu Mohammed, Robert Addo Sowah, William Denkyi, and Dennis Korsah.
