Coach Samuel Boadu was sacked by Accra Hearts of Oak following a streak of poor performances by the team and the board of director’s need for a new direction at the club.

Former Hearts of Oak player and legend, Yaw Amankwah has revealed his displeasure with the club for sacking the coach that won 3 major trophies with the club.

Speaking in an interview, the club legend said “For me, I wasn't happy with the news, I don't think Samuel Boadu should've been sacked because he won major trophies in two seasons."

Hearts of Oak are yet to appoint a new coach as replacement but have announced that Under 20 coach, Nii Noi will be in charge of training and other activities till a new coach is appointed.

With the Ghana Premier League put on hold after a court injunction, Accra Hearts of Oak will now prepare to face Real Bamako in the CAF Confederations Cup.
