Eric Bekoe who was born on 10th December, 1986 is arguably one of the lethal strikers that the Ghana premier league have produced in the 21st century. The ex Black stars legend is up for a new role as the head coach for division two side Nsawkawman Fc. During his spell as a player he was highly remembered at his spell at Ghana Premier league giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He was loved by many fans as a result of his clinical finishing in front of goal.
In 2007/08 season, he scored 17 goals in 23 appearances making him the top -scorer of the One Touch Premier League and League Champion with Kotoko.He also won the Presidents Cup with them in the same year.After that impressive performance he was chased by many clubs and they battled each other for his signature.
On December 6, 2008, Bekoe signed a four and half years contract with Egypt Premier League club Petrojet as his next destination. He was set to join Egypt giants Zamalek, but instead Petrojet made a very quick move and the player welcomed it. He became the third non-Egyptian player for the club.After making 80 appearances in all competitions he scored 65 goals which was remarkable for the striker.
He has also had stint with top-notched clubs such as Hearts of Lions, Liberty Professionals, Sekondi Hassacs, Berekum Chelsea just to mention a few. He also featured for the black stars at the national level, scoring 4 goals in 12 appearances.His new role as a coach has been speculated by many fans and pundits to be a success as a result of his knowledge and experience on and off the pitch.
