Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel concedes he was 'astounded' by Tottenham's choice to sack Jose Mourinho and says he 'didn't see it coming'. 'Pretty much I'm generally somewhat astonished when it happens [a administrative sacking],' Tuchel said when gotten some information about Mourinho's takeoff. 'We're all contenders and we as a whole attempt to beat each other yet in the end we wish each chief has a decent air and is in a decent state and work environment.
'It never feels great as another chief when somebody is sacked yet it's not my responsibility to remark on that. What will be will be. 'Everyone contends energetically for results and when a significant choice comes this way, it was an amazement. I genuinely didn't see it coming.'
