Now that the league is gradually catching momentum, the premier league clubs should come under one umbrella and start demonstrating against the Ghana football association and boycott the league because we can't continue to play sakora league without supporters at the stadium. The clubs are suffering financially a lot of difficulties.
We can't use Covid as an excuse forever unless we want the teams to go bankrupt and start fixing matches in the Ghana Premier league. The government with care for the football fraternity even granted 25% attendance at the stadium but the Ghana football association due to their reasons best known to them and their own selfish interest, they released a letter to ban fans going to the stadium without even thinking about the teams, thinking as if stadium is the dead zone for Covid.
After allowing the clubs to train their own stewards, How should we still play sponsorless league behind closed doors in Ghana football leagues. We want to go to the stadiums, people are allowed to go to malls and be winding around the malls, schools are overcrowded, market centers are choked, people are sitting in their full capacity that even in trotro etc, most of these are the one's who will come to stadium. If they could at least grant a quarter of the Stadium capacity that will be fair which our teams needs.
We can't continue to play behind closed doors. The Ghana football association has done us more harm than good for banning fans at the stadium when government granted us the 25%, then it's better they cancel the league.
