Morocco goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou has picked teammate, Sofyan Amrabat as his best player in their round 16 victory over Spain in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Atlas Lions held the former world champions to a goalless draw after 120 minutes of a keenly contested game at the Education City Stadium.
Bounou, who is also known as Bono saved two penalty kicks to give the 1976 AFCON winners progression into the quarter final.

The latest feat is a new World Cup record after surpassing their 1986 round 16 berth to reach their first ever quarter final.
Bono said: ”I’m so happy for the team, they did a great job in all the games, we understood the game from the start so I’m very happy for the team.
“All the team they did a great job, incredible job so for me all the players did a good job.
“If I have to give (Best Player Award) to someone, I will give to Sofyan Amrabat.” Yassine Bounou said.
Morocco has now joined Cameroon (1990), Senegal (2002) and Ghana (2010) as the only African countries to reach the quarter final of the FIFA World Cup.
