Ibrahim joined the Phobians in a 3-year deal from to end the rumors of where he was to move to.
The new deal will see him stay at the Phobians until the 2024 season.
The Phobians posted what Salifu IBRAHIM said on their Twitter handle.
He joined the 20-time Ghana Premier League Champions from fellow Premier League side, Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Prior to joining the 2000 CAF Champions League winners, he had won four man-of-the-match awards in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
His performance caught the eye of several domestic and foreign clubs as a result.
He was rumoured to be joining Medeama SC but the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup winners snapped up the intelligent attacking midfielder.
He will add more life to the already rich midfield set up of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians have not done badly in the Ghana Premier League.
They have gathered 24 points from 16 matches.
They are seated 5th on the league table on same points as rivals, Asante Kotoko who have two outstanding matches.
Hearts of Oak could still go to the market to sign some more players to augment their set up before the transfer window closes on March 18 in Ghana.
