Today marks the birthday of Lionel Messi. He turned thirty five today. He is from Argentina and currently plays his club football for Paris Saint Germain.
Messi is arguably considered as the greatest player of all time. His football career is one of the best as compared to his other colleagues. As it stands now, he has played nine hundred and seventy four matches. He has won the top scorer award for six times in his career. He has also won the ballon D'or seven times which the most in football history followed by Ronaldo who have won it five times. He has won forty trophies throughout his career including the Copa America. In total, he has scored one thousand one hundred goals and assist throughout his career.
Looking at his achievements in football, he deserves to be celebrated today on his birthday as one of the greatest footballer of all time.
