This Saturday, Chelsea will kick off their preseason trip against Club America. They'll be looking to get off to a winning start.
To this point, the Blues haven't done much in the transfer window, but they're very close to finalizing deals for Manchester City's Nathan Ake and Raheem Sterling.
Chelsea's first game of the 2022-2023 season is against Everton, and they'll want to win the match and pick up three points.
If Chelsea can beat Everton, it will send the appropriate message that the club is serious about challenging for the title this upcoming season.
