Karela United’s top four dreams is still alive - Evans Adotey

Karela United were pegged back by Medeama to dent their top four finish hopes.

The crunchy match day 28 came up at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa on Sunday.

Towering central defender, Vincent Atingah headed Medeama’s only goal in the 85th minute.

The goal happens to separate the two sides after the entire duration at the Akoon Park.

The defeat pushed Karela down into 6th on the league log with 43 points after 28 matches.

Karela coach, Evans Adotey despite the defeat, is still not giving up on the top four finish.

“We are on course [for the top four], we are not down at all.

“We only need to go back and make sure we take the three points away from Legon Cities.” Evans Adotey said.

Karela United will welcome Legon Cities FC to the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday, June 13 for match day 29 of the 2020/21 Ghana premier league season.
