Accra Hearts of Oak are the current leaders of the ongoing Ghana Premier League. They beat Berekum Chelsea by 2-0 to maintain their spot on the league log.
The phobians have been on a pretty fine recently and are confident of winning the league this season. The last time the rainbow boys won the league was in 2009. They have been tipped as the favourite club to win the trophy by sports pundits and fans across the country.
After their massive win, one of their aggressive defenders midfielder Benjamin Afutu, has stated that their gaffer has been helping them to develop as players.
He said “Coach Boadu has refined me as a player since he joined Hearts. He already knew my style of play and he has helped push me and am getting better match after match”.
He further added that they the players are resolute and adamant of winning the league this season he added “We have advised ourselves as players regarding the situation of not winning a trophy for the last 11 years. The concentration of the guys is very high this time around and we have to do our best, come together and deliver the cup for the club at the end of the season,’’
