Asante Kotoko appointed new visionary commercial manager

The former Parliamentary candidate for Fantekwa South Constituency has landed a top position at the Porcupine Warriors until 2023.



Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have appointed New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications team member, Eric Amoako Twum as the the club's Commercial Manager.


Twum is one of the outspoken Politicians in the country who previously worked as the deputy Chief Executive of Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

He has vast experience in marketing having stints with Millicom Ghana (Tigo), Nestle Ghana, One Africa Media and UK based Telecommunication giants Orange Telecom as their brand manager.

Twum holds MA in marketing management from Birmingham University.


He has expertise in Technology, Sales and Marketing, Brand management and Investment.


Twum becomes the fifth individual to be part of the management team of Asante Kotoko after Moses Antwi Benefo, David Obeng Nyarko, Thomas Sevordzi and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi.

Asante Kotoko, is a professional football club from KumasiAshanti Region in Ghana West Africa. Their home grounds is based at Baba Yara Stadium in Amakom, Kumasi.

They compete in the Ghanaian Premier League. They have been champions of the Ghana Premier League a record 24 times,

have won the CAF Champions League twice and were adjudged the African club of the century by International Football Federation of History and Statistics.

They are also called the Porcupine Warriors.
