The founder and leader of Shining Grace Chapel International, Bishop Isaac Appiah, popularly known as Ogya Nyame prophesied the Black Stars of Ghana will not qualify for the World Cup in Qatar this year. At some point in time, some Ghanaians believed his prophecy after he said that the Black Stars of Ghana will draw with the Super Eagles of Nigeria at Baba Yara sports stadium and it came to pass.
Prophet Ogya Nyame prophesied that God has revealed to him that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will win the game at Abuja and qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. However, at the end of the game, the Black Stars of Ghana drew with the Super Eagles of Nigeria at Abuja and booked their ticket to Qatar.
Some Ghanaians after the Black Stars of Ghana won the match are now calling on the Inspector General of Police, Mr. George Akuffo Dampare to arrest Prophet Ogya Nyame for giving false against the Ghana Black Stars. They stated that IGP promised to arrest any man of God that give a prophecy that makes the country panic.
Others were 'mocking' the man of God as they stated that God did not reveal any prophecy to him. He was just making predictions based on the Ghana Black Stars' performance in the Africa Cup of Nations.
