The Ministry of Youth and Sports has challenged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to review the work and capacity of the technical team led by Milovan Rajevac, head coach of the Black Stars, after the team’s poor performance and early exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The ministry in an emergency committee also asked Ghana Football Association to reconstitute the management committee of the Black Stars.
They stated that Ghanaians and the government is highly disappointed in the performance and have lost confidence in the team despite all the provisions made for them.
The ministry of youth and sports believed that Ghana Black Stars could have done better since all the provisions and the technicalities needed for a successful tournament were provided.
We are yet to see the outcome of the meeting and the way forward as to whether the team can succeed in forthcoming matches or not.
Below is an open letter from the ministry of youth and sports to GFA.
