Ghana U-17 team is out of the ongoing WAFU tournament in Togo

The Ghana national U-17 football team known as the Black Starlets, is the youngest team that represents Ghana in association football.


They participated in the ongoing West African Football Union (WAFU) zone 'B' tournament in Togo this year, 2021. The Breaking News reaching us from the camp of Black Starlets is that, they are out of the WAFU tournament and did not qualify for the Under 17 Africa Youth Championship.


This is the second time consecutively that the Ghana National Under Seventeen (U-17) has been denied from going to the African Under Seventeen championship.


The Ghana National Under Seventeen the Black Satellites went to Togo to play the ongoing West African Football Union (WAFU) tournament. Ghana U-17 played their first match with Nigeria under 17 and drew 1:1 with them.

The Ghana National Under Seventeen the Black Satellites after playing a 1:1 draw with the Nigerians had 1 point and was waiting to win the next game to be able have all the three maximum points to qualify for the next stage of the competition.


Earlier today 12th January 2021, the National Under Seventeen team, the Black Satellites of Ghana played their second game against the under Seventeen (U-17) team of La Cote D'ivoire.


After the ninety minutes of soccer Fiesta, the Ghana National Under Seventeen the Black Satellites lost the game to the under Seventeen team of LA Cote D'ivoire by three goals to one (Ghana 1:3 Cote D'ivoire)


Per calculations in terms of points, the Ghana under 17 team the Black Satellites is totally out of the West African Football Union (WAFU) tournament after LA Cote D'ivoire beat them 3:1 to show them their exit.
