See Photos of Nigeria New Stadium For Super Eagles AFCON Qualifiers Against Sierra Leone

A new home has emerged for the Nigeria Senior National team Super Eagles after playing their qualifiers games at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba, Delta State.

The dream to host the Super Eagles again in Benin is here again after the completion and renovation of Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin by the Edo State Government.

This is coming after the government were given the hosting rights of the Nigeria National Sports Festival which was earlier scheduled to take place in March this year but was later postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

But the edifice will play host to the Nigeria 2021 AFCON Qualifiers against fellow West Africa counterparts, Sierra Leone, next week.

Also, the Edo State Government has commenced the Ossiomo Power Plant to begins power supply, lights up Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium ahead of the big day.
