Sergio Ramos Has Broken A 100 Year Old Laliga Record!

Real Madrid ended the season with a 2:2 draw with Leganes who are officially relegated from laliga to Segunda B but it was their star defender who stole the show and opened the scoring with a thumping header before the break.

Real Madrid are laliga champions for the 2019/20 season but they have to thank their star defender Sergio Ramos who has scored a record of 11 goals this season, the most of his fifteen years career.

His eleven goals this season is not just the most goals he has ever scored in his whole career but also the most any defender has ever scored in laliga in the past hundred years.

Sergio Ramos scored six goals after the covid19 break and most of his goals were very crucial and they are the reason why Real Madrid are laliga champions. Ramos was able to match the six goals scored by Lionel Andre Messi after the break.

The record of the most goals scored by a defender was previously held by a Getafe player called Mariano Pernia who scored ten goals fifteen years ago.

Sergio Ramos is thirty four years old but he is showing no signs of slowing down. He is like a new signing for Real Madrid. There were rumours of him leaving Real Madrid and even Florentino Perez was finding it difficult to give him a new contract. But I guess not anymore. I guess Florentino Perez will give Sergio Ramos a life time contract because they cannot afford to repeat the same mistake they made with Christiano Ronaldo with Sergio Ramos.

Ramos is irreplaceable. No one can replace Sergio Ramos in Real Madrid, so the best thing is to make him happy because when he is happy Real Madrid will also be happy.
