Black Stars central defender, Salisu Mohammed has expressed his joy over his first ever goal for the senior national team team.

The 23-year-old Southampton defender made his debut in the Black Stars 3-0 defeat against record World Cup holders, Brazil in France.
He played full time in Ghana’s 1-0 win over Nicaragua in Spain but had to wait until the final pre-World Cup exercise against Switzerland to score.
His goal came on the 69 minutes when headed home the Black Stars opener after a goalmouth melee.
The Black Stars doubled their lead courtesy Bristol City striker, Antoine Semenyo on the 74th minute of the international friendly.
It is a huge boost for the four time Africa Champions and Salisu Mohammed who had initially refused to play for the national team. The Black Stars are paired in group H alongside two old foes, Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea for the World Cup that starts on Sunday.
