In a world where there are advantages and disadvantages in everything we do, you have to think about the other side of the things you deem successful or as a success.
To gain a call up to the national team is a good news that every player wishes for. But on the other side, some players lose their positions in their teams after tournaments.
It is likely that Richard Atta will be facing same problem after he returns from the ongoing AFCON tournament going on in Cameroon.
The lot fell on Richmond Ayi to keep the post in the absence of their first team goalkeeper Richard Atta. The performance of the second goalkeeper is proving to be satisfying for him to pose a challenge to his teammate.
In yesterday’s game against Eleven Wonders, there were saves that Richmond Ayi made which was mind blowing. Two fantastic saves in the first half but in the second half, the player made saves from three players of Eleven Wonders.
Apart from Isaac Quain’s long range in the first half, in the 51st minute, Ayi made a save from a shot from Prince Baffoe. The 57th minute resulted in another save from Ayi when he caught a shot from Tetteh Nortey.
Again in the 67th minute, Abass Ganiyu forced a save from Ayi. This exceptional performance has made some to think that Ayi is capable to keep the post.
