12 years ago mj was sitting in a dark basement when he saw a photo of a competition for the world's best beard.

This competition was so weird, so ridiculous and so crazy that MJ wanted to try and get first place at it overnight.

He just fell in love with the idea so he decided to grow a beard.

He put away his razor, stopped shaving and let his facial hair grow longer and longer for years.

He decided to grow it to a world championship level beard or mustache because it turns out competitive beard growing is serious business.

It wasn't enough to just have a lot of hair on your face, like this you have to have unique hair at a beard contest. Judges mark you down for a variety of things which are put in three categories.

It's your beard your outfit and your stage presence and there are not just one or two categories but 16 categories at the world championships. You can have a Hungarian mustache, natural mustache, English mustache and freestyle mustache there's a lot of styles that get celebrated. So he picked one category and went for it.

He really didn't know what was going to happen but decided to try his first attempts and growing an epic beard looked terrible. And to make things worse when the beard was growing he was made fun of, everybody thought he was a crazy guy and he looked horrendous.

His first competitions were a failure but he did not give up instead he tried again and again and again working hard on perfecting his style.

It took him four years until he finally won a beard competition and in addition to winning the competition, he won the admiration of the world with this kind of look he became world famous his beard appeared in media all over the world on beard products that were sold in the us or on ads, on trucks in europe or even on newspapers in asia. He also got to travel, join beard clubs around the world and make lifelong friends with a lot of hair gosh.

In conclusion, it is a great example that it doesn't matter if you have a crazy dream, it doesn't matter if you're bad at it, at first you just have to give your dream a hundred and ten percent of your efforts your efforts will pay off sometimes in the most surprising way you should try at something even.
