Asante Kotoko Sign Another Defender For The CAF Champions League

Ghana Premier League champions, Asante have acquired the services another top central defender to augment their squad ahead of next season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors defied all odds to claim their first ever Ghana Premier league title in eight premier season.

The victory takes Asante Kotoko back to the CAF Champions League after missing out on last season’s continental campaign.

Asante Kotoko have now known their opponent ahead of next season’s CAF Champions League.

The Porcupine Warriors are paired against Burkina Faso champions, Rail Club de Kadiogo with the winner of both legs qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

Therefore, Asante Kotoko have announced the signing 𝐊𝐨𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐞̀.

The Cameroonian defender joins the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer for a period of three years.

Kotoko earlier last week signed another Cameroonian goalkeeper, Moise Pouaty bringing the number of Cameroonians in the squad to four.
