Manchester City Vs Real Madrid: There is No Way Real Madrid Can Qualify - Done Deal For Man-City!

Many Real Madrid fans think the quarter finals of the champions league is already a done deal, even the players also think so, but I beg to differ.

Their claim is that Real Madrid are in the form of their life because they won all their eleven matches in laliga after the covid19 break. But Real Madrid fans have forgotten that they did not meet a team in the calibre of Manchester City in their last eleven matches.

If Real Madrid had the teams Barcelona had after the break, they would have dropped even more points than what Barcelona did. Who wouldn't have won matches against Leganes, Eibar, Alaves, Granada, Espanyol, Mallorca etc? In fact, Barcelona, Valencia and Athletico Madrid would have won these matches with bigger score lines instead of 1-0 and the 2:1 Real Madrid won.

And Certainly Real Madrid would have struggled against the likes of Athletico Madrid, Sevilla and Villareal. So, Real Madrid fans shouldn't be overly excited because they won laliga. In fact, they won laliga because Barcelona dropped too many points this season than usual. If Barcelona won matches like they did last season, Real Madrid wouldn't even be near the trophy they won. They would have only won it in their dreams.

The bitter truth is that Real Madrid have not met a team like Manchester city after the covid break. Manchester city is by far a different team altogether and they will make Real Madrid suffer big time at the Ethihad stadium tonight.

And above all a team like Manchester city with the best coach in the world Pep Guardiola with two away goals won't slip easily.

With Rahim Sterling in the form of his life, it will be a bitter night for Real Madrid fans.

So, the Real Madrid fans who are already rejoicing because in their dreams they have already won the champions league, should rethink and rather pray for a miracle.

But from where I sit, Real Madrid are going down tonight at the Ethihad and they will be saying good bye to the champions league.
