Samuel Inkoom on the verge of joining Hearts of Oak.

Former black stars player Samuel Inkoom is about to join defending champions Hearts of Oak. The former Kotoko right back has been spotted training with the Phobians for sometime now. He is set to follow in the footsteps of legendary midfielder Sulley Muntari who joined the Phobians for the second half of the season. Sulley has performed creditably well for Hearts of Oak since his arrival.

The influx of these former black stars players is a good sign. Their arrivals will raise the interest in the local league. It will boost the commercial viability of the league. Look at the increase in attendance to Hearts matches as as result of the presence of Sulley. The presence of these stars will attract fans to the various match venues. These players have seen it all and have accomplished a lot. They will be a source of inspiration to the younger players.

Inkoom has been a journey man. He played in a lot of countries. He has played for about 14 clubs in his career till date. He is still relatively young and has a lot to offer. He is 32 years old. We all know what Inkoom and what he is capable of. He can be a handful on a very good day. If he joins the Phobians, he will offer them a lot and will be a significant upgrade on their current right backs.
