Salifu Ibrahim is the best midfielder now - Ex-Kotoko striker reveals

Ex-Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe says Hearts of Oak midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim is the biggest revelation of the current Ghana premier league season.

Ibrahim joined Hearts of Oak in a 3-year deal from Techiman Eleven Wonders and has become an instant hit for the 20 time Ghana league holders.

Ibrahim , 20 , has won seven “man-of-the-match” awards this season.

His awards are a combined feat between former club, Eleven Wonders and Hearts of Oak.

Bekoe believes Salifu Ibrahim has a lot of qualities.

“Salifu Ibrahim is the revelation in the Ghana premier league.

“However, where he started from has not made us see him properly.

“But now that he has come into the limelight, we have now realized that we have a quality [player] and he is showcasing.

“I watched Fabio Gama once when he came to Ghana and I said he would be good and Gama is showing it.” Bekoe told West FM

Bekoe was appointed head coach of second division side, Nsawkawman FC two months ago although he is yet to retire from football 

He was top scorer of the Ghana league in the 2007/08 league season.

The now 34-year has played for Liberty Professionals, Hearts of Lions, Berekum Chelsea, Sekondi Hasaacas and Asante Kotoko.

He played for Egypt club, Petrojet.
