Torgbui Afede and Management Need Our Support - Samuel Boadu

Many have dubbed the highest shareholder of Hearts of Oak Torgbui Afede XIV as “Mr Do Little” since owning the club a decade ago.

The Phobians are yet to win any silverware in over ten years with the technical bench and the playing body having undergone several changes.

However, in the past year, the 2000 CAF Champions League winners have seen a renaissance with the Pobiman Project nearing completion.

Hearts of Oak also appointed former Medeama SC trainer, Samuel Boadu for the next three seasons to steer the affairs of the technical team.

The young coach has urged the club’s following to throw their support for Torgbui Afede XIV and the management.

“What I want to say is that, they [fans] should support the team.

“Even though every coach is running out of Hearts of Oak but I came in strongly to take that job.

“They should support and pray for the team and support Torgbui and the management so that the team can reach the highest standard.” Samuel Boadu said.

Hearts of Oak have not done badly at in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians have gathered 34 points from 21 games, seated 4th.

They are just a point behind bitter rivals, Asante Kotoko who sit second on the league table.

Hearts of Oak picked an important away point against Karela on match day 21 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park last Sunday.

The Phobians will face Dreams FC in match day 22 at the Dawu Park on Sunday May 2.
