Hasaacas Ladies have been crowned as the winners of the Ghana women’s league for 2020/21 season. This means that they have won the competition for the fourth times and they’re the club that have won the competition the most.
The league winners beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies 4-0 to win the title. Goals from Doris Boaduwaa, Evelyn Badu and Evelyn Nyame Aidoo was enough for the team to clinch their fifth title in the campaign.
In view of this, the club is set to represent Ghana in the WAFU Zone B qualifying series of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League. The team have been drawn in Group B against Rivers Angels FC in Nigeria and AS Police de Niamey in Niger.
C.E.O of the club, Evelyn Nsiah has stated that, the club will make Ghana proud in the competition. These were her words “We were strong in the Women's League and we will improve on that before the start of the tournament.We have made some few signings and with their addition to the team, we will surely leave a mark”.
The first zonal qualifiers is set to commence between July 17 and 30.
