The German tactician, who coached several Ghanaian clubs including Hearts Of Oak died in his country Germany after a short illness that landed him in the hospital for several days before his passing away.
According to close relatives, Sanzio Bahner has been battling with stroke for a while now which brought an abrupt end to his coaching career.
The deceased managed current Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts Of Oak in 2005 and just for a season after failing to win the league title during that season.
Before joining Accra Hearts Of Oak, Sanzio Bahner was with Feyenoord Academy now known as West Africa Football Academy developing talents for clubs outside the country, mainly in Europe.
May his soul continue to rest in peace.
