John Dumelo: I Will Carry My Ginger And Walk Barefoot To Lagos If Nigeria Win Against Ghana

Actor, politician, and farmer, John Dumelo is confident the Black Stars of Ghana will win against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2022 Qatar World Cup play-off slated for today, March 25, 2022, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Dumelo, in a Facebook post, emphasised his confidence in the Black Stars despite their abysmal performance and early exit from the 2021 African Cup of Nations that was held earlier this year in Cameroon.

“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match”, he stated.

Additionally, the ginger farmer vowed to walk barefoot with his ginger on his head from the capital of Ghana, Accra to Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos.

“If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot.”

The post garnered mixed reactions from his followers. Whereas some thought the Blacks Stars is no team to rely on, others urged him on.

One of his followers offered to support him with 50 gallons of water for his journey.

The second leg of the game will take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29.
