Ghana's record league champions Asante Kotoko extended their lead at the top of this season's championship with a comfortable win this afternoon in Tarkwa.
The Porcupines are now nine points ahead of the pack with four matches to play on their part as they chase a first GPL crown in eight years.
This afternoon, they defeated Medeama SC 2-0 at the Tarkwa Community Park, to establish a clear lead at the top of the stairs as they continued with their search for another GPL crown.
Asante Kotoko are now nine points ahead of Medeama SC going into the last few matches of the campaign, and, they look good on winning this season's championship.
Goals by Andrews Appau and Frank Etouga Mbella handed them all three points as they posted their 17th win of the campaign.
Asante Kotoko now require four points from their last four games to wrestle the GPL title they have sought for all season.
