GPL Champions Asante Kotoko Lose First Game In Sudan, Club Making Progress Or Retrogress?

Asante Kotoko departed the shores of Ghana for Sudan to continue the second phase of their preseason. This came after the team made official, the cancellation of the Turkey trip.

As part of preparations, Asante Kotoko announced series of friendly games that will be played in Sudan. The first game took place today and Asante Kotoko lost to Al Hilal by two unanswered goals.

What are the consequences for the first defeat in the second phase of the preseason? Is the club progressing or retrogressing?

In the first phase of preseason, Asante Kotoko arranged some friendly matches and won. Observations made from today’s game clearly indicate that there was a pattern in their style of play.
