Why Christian Eriksen is delaying Man United Move.

Christian Eriksen's position about the likelihood of joining Manchester United this summer has changed recently, according to new information. Naturally, media rumors about the Red Devils' desire to sign Danish international Eriksen with an eye toward next season have been rife over the past few weeks.

The 30-year-old is coming off a standout second half of the previous season with Thomas Frank's Brentford back in England. Eriksen's plans for the 2022–23 season, though, have long been a mystery as his contract with west London is set to expire at the end of the month.

However, on Monday, information to that effect was made available. David McDonnell of The Mirror provides the information, suggesting that despite claims to the contrary, Eriksen has not ruled out the prospect of moving to Old Trafford.

Instead, it's believed that the midfielder is keeping United on edge, eager to see what kind of player comes through the door on the red side of Manchester in the coming weeks. In turn, it is implied that Eriksen will seriously consider signing a deal with the Red Devils if he is sufficiently impressed with the amount of reinforcement to the team under new manager Erik ten Hag.
