Asante Kotoko might have hit a dead-end in their pursuit of former Ashantigold striker, Shafiu Mumuni and might have to move their attention elsewhere.
The Black Stars B captain has been a long-standing target for the Porcupines with recent reports indicating that the 24-year-old had reached a verbal agreement with Kotoko.
However, Footballmadeinghana.com, an affiliated online portal to Dreams FC has hinted that the striker is set to sign a contract with the Dawu-based club in the coming days.
This could see Asante Kotoko fumble at their bid for the player, they actually need.
Dreams FC on Tuesday hinted on their Facebook page that another top striker will be unveiled in the coming days, confirming speculations that the Black Stars B skipper is set for the Theater of Dreams.
The goal poacher is currently a free agent after turning down a contract renewal offer from previous club AshantiGold SC.
Dreams FC have already signed former Hearts of Oak forward, Joseph Esso whom many tipped to join the Fabulous club after reports suggesting he has agreed on personal terms with the Reds following his departure from the Phobians.
