David Obeng Nyarko said, the club is not perturbed by their present second position on the league log with eight matches to end the season.
"We are Asante Kotoko and we are highly determined to win the GPL title at the end of the season", Mr Nyarko told the local media in Kumasi.
The club he added, started this campaign slowly, but, has warmed themselves right into contention for the title and, they'll press on until the ultimate goal is achieved.
The Porcupines are separated at the top on goal difference from their arch rivals Hearts of Oak with the two Ghanaian giants level on 46 points going into this weekend's round of matches.
And, Mr Nyarko said, they will take the rest of the matches as they come, believing that they have what it takes to finish the season as winners of the competition.
Asante Kotoko will next play Aduana Stars in an away game at Dormaa-Ahenkro on Saturday where they will seek a win for the first time ever.
Mr Nyarko sounded optimistic that Kotoko will leave the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park with the three points to aid in the quest of winning the GPL title at the end of this campaign.
