Newly crowned champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Asante Kotoko statistically is believed to have had the best season as league champions than any previous winners in nine years.
This was concluded today after they held Accra Lions to a 1-1 draw as visitors today at the Accra Sports Stadium which happens to be their last fixture of the season - thanks to Samuel Boateng who levelled after Abass Samari Salifu in the 87th minute.
The Porcupine Warriors accumulated points this season [2021/2022] was 67, 19-wins, 10-draws and 5 losses in 34 league games - the best-recorded statistics sighted in 9 years in the Premier League.
